Data handling

EULETA takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We process personal data that is collected during visits to our website in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. In particular, the Hamburg Data Protection Act (HmbDSG) of May 18, 2018 and the Law on Telemedia (TMG) apply. The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal data. To the extent that personal data (for example, name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. 1.     Data collection and processing for access via the Internet

When you visit our website, our web servers automatically save data from each access in a log file. This data is stored separately from other data that you enter when using the services we offer. We are not able to associate this data with a specific person. This data is used in anonymous form for the purposes of statistical evaluation of our website with PIWIK and is then deleted.

The following data is collected:

  •  Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the accessed file
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Access status of the web server (file transferred, file not found, command not executed, etc.)

The user login for access to protected areas is partially logged in order to be able to recognise attempted misuse and attacks on passwords. No data is stored that could be used to create personal profiles of user activity.

2.    Use and disclosure of personal data

In general, it is not necessary for you to provide personal data to use our website. No data is stored in a database.

3.    Cookies

Our website uses cookies in several places. They serve to make our website more user-friendly and efficient. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the browser on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are known as session cookies, which are deleted when you end your browser session. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.

Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers. We point out that this privacy policy applies only to the main website. We have no influence on and do not control whether other providers comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

6. Validity and currency of the privacy policy

By using our website, you consent to the use of data as described above. This privacy policy is effective immediately and replaces all previous statements.

7. Facebook plugins (Like-button)

Our website contains plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. When you visit our website, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. Facebook thus receives information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like" button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to our website with your Facebook user account. We would point out that we, as the provider of the website, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. 8. YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our web pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to assign your browsing activity directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

9. SSL encryption

This website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

10. Right to information, erasure, blocking

11. Objection to promotional emails

The use of our contact details mentioned in the Legal Notice, for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational material, is prohibited. The website provider reserves the right to take legal action against the sending of any unsolicited promotional material, such as spam emails.
