Workshop INFORMATION 

EULETA’s membership is made up of many people working in different capacities in legal English, for example: lawyers, linguists, translators, legal English trainers for professionals, and legal English university professors. This workshop, co-organised by Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and EULETA, aims to bring our diverse members together to share and find new practical ways of combining our expertise to improve our legal English teaching.

We invite you to attend our workshop taking place LIVE in-person at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels.

provisional SCHEDULE

Friday 20 September 

  •  Afternoon: for those arriving early in Brussels, there will be an informal walking tour of the European quarter.
  • Evening: meet and greet at a restaurant in Brussels
These events are not included in the workshop registration fee.


Saturday 21 September 

  • 8:30-9:00 Registration and welcome coffee
  • 9:00-9:30 Opening address
  • 9:45-11:15 Workshop sessions
  • 11:15-11:45 Tea & coffee break
  • 11:45-12:30 Workshop sessions
  • 12:30-13:30 Lunch
  • 13:45-15:15 Workshop sessions
  • 15:15-15:45 Tea & coffee break
  • 15:45-17:15 Workshop sessions
  • 17:30 -18:45 Closing addresses and EULETA AGM
  • 20:00+ Dinner

The cost of all workshop sessions, coffee breaks, lunch, and cultural activity are included in the workshop registration fee. Dinner on Saturday evening is also included, but the beverages are limited to water.

Sunday 22 September

  • Cultural activity (to be defined)
The price for this activity is included in the workshop registration fee.

Accommodation

Participants need to make own arrangements for accommodation.

We recommend the areas Quartier du Châtelain or Flagey.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation up to and including 16 August 2024 23:59 CET: full refund

Cancellation up to and including 10 September 2024 23:59 CET: 50 euro refund

Cancellation after 10 September 2024 23:59 CET: no refund
